I love facebook alot because it keeps me in touch with all my family and friends. Its a great way for people to keep in touch with their classmates and old friends. But some people are using facebook for other reasons. I am only 19 so i have alot of younger people because i live in a small town. But every time i get on there its all DRAMA. Its not like they can put a legal age on here because everyone can lie about their age. So here soon i am about to delete alot of younger people, because i like facebook to keep in touch with my college friends and my family.
Another thing that facebook is good for is that people you are trying to sell things or doing community events its a great way to reach other people. But i still think there could be other ways for people to reach other people. After i have done some research i found out that there have been people murding people because they defriended them or because they updadted their status to be mean to another person. Facebook shouldn't be like that. you will see that a couple got murded because they defrinded a lady. That is just messed up to me.
I have had a lot of friends and i have seen alot of relationhops get messed up or in fights because they didn't change their profile picture of them or they didn't put there statuse saying "I love him soo much" Its your profile you should be able to do what you want tto do wtih it.
My last thing that i dont like about facebook is that there are alot of people who lie about their profile and try to find little kids this is how people get raped or other crimes happen. So what do you guys think about facebook??
I personally like facebook because I can keep in touch with my friends that live all over the U.S. It does get very frustrating to have other people (it isn't all younger kids) post trash or drama. I guess that is why facebook has provided the option to hide people from your view feed. It's awesome AND it doesn't offend or hurt anyone!
ReplyDeleteI once upon a time was a facebook member, I still have my account, but I do not use it very much anymore. I had people trying to friend me so that they could say they had this many people on their facebook with them. I use it if I really need to get a hold of someone, or if I have a friend that I REALLY know that want to be added, But I find that I get really sick of the DRAMA as well.
ReplyDeleteI feel the exact same way! I wrote a blog about this a couple weeks ago about kids using it to bash their parents and using it for bullying. I think there should be an age limit to facebook, for mature people. I know this wouldn't filter all of the ignorant people out there but it would catch a lot. I honestly could do with out facebook, and I think that society might just be better with out it.
